CANDELAFEST 2026
Our summer fundraising party has traditionally been centered around our open call exhibition, UnBound!, and has been thusly named. As we celebrate this summer for the first time as a 501c3, we’re expanding the spirit of this gathering beyond a single exhibition to something greater; our intention is to garner substantial financial support for gallery programming and operations for the coming year.

Join us for an evening in conversation with UK-based artist Alma Haser in conjunction with her two feature exhibitions, Tired, Warrior, Defeated, In Love, and Four Legs, currently on view at Candela Photographic Arts. Haser will discuss her multidisciplinary practice, recent photographic and sculptural works, and the layered emotional terrain explored throughout the exhibition.
Known for blending photography, sculpture, textiles, and collage, Haser’s work navigates themes of identity, transformation, intimacy, and perception through intricate hand-built processes and deeply personal narratives.
