On Thursday, November 5th, join Candela for a coursed, family-style dinner in the gallery with Bobo Catoe of Lafayette Tavern alongside artists Justin James Reed, Kyohei Abe, and Donna Soo.
The Collector Dinner Series began in 2020 and brings artists, collectors, and community to the dinner table in support of our mission to sustain meaningful photographic work and dialogue. As Candela Gallery shifts into its new non-profit identity as Candela Photographic Arts, we hope to grow our celebrated dinner model into one that helps support our programming, with additional sponsorship levels and ticket options. Gatherings like this allow us to keep doing what we do best: supporting artists and keeping our public programs free and accessible to the community.
Your ticket purchase directly supports Richmond restaurants, as well as Candela exhibitions, artist honorariums, and public programming as we await confirmation of our 501(c)(3) status. Sponsorship Level: Go beyond the ticket with a sponsorship level to help give us a boost through the transition. The Collector Sponsor Level includes two seats for dinner.
